보편적이지만 보편적이지 않았던 이야기들 속 주인공과 장소와 사물들을 상상한다. 그 상상은 현실이 비현실이 되기도 하고 가보지 못한 미래가 연민 같은 과거가 되어 있기도 하다. 살아가면서 경험하고 느끼게 되는 감정들 중 일상과 관계들 속에 실은 저마다에게 자리한적 있었던 보편적 감정선의 찰라들을 새삼스럽게도 끄집어내 말을 거는 작업을 하고 싶다.

Artist Yu Jin Sook imagines characters, places and objects in the stories that are common and yet unique. In her imagination, the reality becomes unreal and the future to come becomes the piteous past. Among the emotions we feel and experience in our lives, Yu seeks to work on pointing out the minute moment of common feelings that has been in everyone’s mind.
