허은오 작가는 전통 기법뿐 아니라 유채, 아크릴, 판화 등 다양한 매체와 기법을 사용하고 있다.
다루는 매체들은 다양하지만 산수화나 화조화의 소재와 내용적인 측면이 기본을 이루고 있다.
작가의 작품은 자연의 근원적 생명에 대한 경이로움 안에서 마음의 고요를 찾는 사유적 태도에 기반을 두고 있다.
작가는 이러한 주제를 가지고 전통과 현대적 미감을 조화시키며 마음의 위안과 평온을 전달하기 위해 다양한 시도를 하고 있다.
